  • This looks, to me, like an obvious attempt on the part of the Miss America Organization to grab some attention to itself, because otherwise, nobody even pays attention to it (remember that ABC dropped the pageant in 2004 due to low viewership, after NBC did the same in 1996 for the same reason).

  • That twisted woman is nothing but petty and mean to children. I wonder if she knows, or even cares, that this is the sort of thing that will make those children remember HER with disgust throughout their lives, NOT Obama or McCain.

  • I agree that security should have been present to maintan order -- even the police should have been involved in preventing this from happening, by allowing only a few shoppers in at any one time.
